They're looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team and help them to continue to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment tailored to each student's unique needs.

The Role / Key Responsibilities:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the SEN teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in creating inclusive learning environments
  • Supporting the development and implementation of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Working closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
  • Assisting with behaviour management and implementing effective strategies
  • Adapting support according to the varying needs and abilities of students

Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in working with students with SEN
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential)
