Maintenance/Facilities Operative

Connect Appointments have a new permanent opportunity in the Kinross area, for a reliable and experienced Maintenance/Facilities Operative.

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm; paid at a competitive rate of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum.

Working as a Maintenance/Facilities Operative, your role will centre around ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Combined with:

• Painting and decorating to a very high standard
• Undertaking basic carpentry work
• Conducting small electrical maintenance tasks
• Conducting daily/weekly checks of the building
• Maintain a log required maintenance tasks and work undertaken
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Assist to ensure back of house areas are kept clean and tidy
• Undertaking commercial kitchen sanitation and maintenance
• Carrying out reasonable duties as required on an ad hoc basis

To be successful within this maintenance role, you will have previous experience in a similar role. Combined with knowledge/familiarity of the following operational systems:

• Knowledge of heating and climate controls
• Access control, including key fobs and gate codes
• TV/Media, audio and lighting controls and fuse boxes
• Meeting room services and equipment controls
• Fire alarm and smoke alarm systems testing
• Emergency Light Testing
• Bulb Changing and Ordering
