We have an incredible opportunity for someone keen to become a BIM coordinator!An opportunity for a part 1, part 2 architectural assistant, technician or technologist who is keen to progress their career as a BIM coordinator.We are recruiting for a leading, medium-sized multi-disciplinary consultancy who offer a range of services including architectural services across a range of building typologies and scales.This role will be mostly remote with some occasional days working from one of their offices across the UK (preferably London or Norwich)The OpportunityYou don't need to be a BIM coordinator already - this role will suit someone looking to make the transition to a BIM roleThe opportunity to be trained directly by the BIM manager of the company, who will act as your mentor and coach and will take personal responsibility to hep you develop into a highly competent BIM coordinator.All this, whilst working for a renowned mid-large scale multi-disciplinary consultancy with a great work life balance, interesting projects and excellent benefitsThe RoleThis is an excellent opportunity to develop your BIM career, working closely with the BIM Manager, and assisting them on the company's transformative BIM journey.In your role you will focus primarily on Autodesk Revit workflows, content and development. As a BIM specialist you will be responsible for creating, managing, and utilising digital modelling techniques in the context of Revit building projects.You should confidently apply BIM methodologies and technologies to facilitate collaboration, coordination, and efficiency throughout all project lifecycles.This feeds directly into documenting best practice workflows that can be widely applied companywide. A key part of your role is to harvest this information and make it digestible to others.RequirementsWhilst this role can be seen as a trainee role and experience as a BIM Coordinator is not required, there are some minimum requirements:Prior experience 1-2 years minimum of working in an architectural studio, multi-disc consultancy, construction company or similar - possibly in an architectural assistant or technician role, with exposure to using technology (ideally Revit).A passion for technology and how it can empower the built environmentExperience working with Revit and in a BIM environment would be highly desirable.Motivated, enthusiastic and keen to learn.Able to commute (as required) to either their London or Norwich-based studios.Must be based in the UK and have the full right to work in the UK.Candidates with notice periods up to 6 weeks will be considered, but an immediate start can also be offered if you are available immediately.
