As the Hospitality Supervisor you will ensure the smooth running of the day to day events within the venue.Contract : 0 or 30 HoursJob Type: Full Timehourly Rate: £14.00ph (plus Tronc after probation)Key Responsibilities:To plan, organise and deliver a successful operation of all meetings in our Business Centre and Training Academy with the assistance of the relevant department headsTo liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the provision of food and service is consistent and in line with Searcys standardsTo meet and greet all customers and run through all info related to their meetings, such as timings, menus, dietary requirementsTo brief the waiting team on all aspects of the business and to oversee the running of the daily operations alongside the retail managerTo assist on the development of the waiting team, making sure that they adhere to standards laid down by the management team and provide training as required, especially on the areas of food and beverage serviceTo ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, such as The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, the COSHH regulations, etc. within the areas of responsibilityTo ensure that all staff present themselves correctly dressed for duty and are well groomed whilst on dutyTo deal effectively and courteously with customer complaints, and refer all complaints to the line manager, if necessaryTo carry out regular checks of the business centre and training academy areas for maintenance, housekeeping and other health and safety issues.
