Head of Operations Business Control

Our client is a growing asset management house. Due to year on year success, they are now looking to recruit a Head of Operations Business Control to assist the COO with a number of business-critical Operational duties.TheHead of Operations Business Controlwill take responsibility for the following duties:Representing theOperationsdepartmentin a number of management and oversight committeesProviding efficient and effective business partnering services to the businessBuild, lead, manage and oversee the Business Control team to ensure effective implementation of risk standards and key deliverables across the Operationsand Finance business functionsProvidingleadership and management of the Business Continuity Planning and leading operational resilienceFull responsibilityof theTrade & Transaction Regulatory ReportingteamMonitoring a timely completion of controls, actions andissues from various committees and auditsPromotingapositive risk and controls culturewithin the businessDue to the nature of this role, theHead of Operations Business Controlmust meet the following skill set:Audit backgroundwithin an asset management houseExperienced at working with Board and Executive level stakeholdersProven experience in aregulatory rolewithinasset management operationsDemonstrable knowledge of the UKregulatoryenvironment, includingICAAP knowledgeAbility to generate recommendations which improve business processesCandidates without asset management experiencecannotbe considered for this role.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong Regulatory experience within buy-side Operations to join a thriving investments house.Please apply for more information.Note, only successful candidates will be responded to.Mason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
