Our client is an innovative and international Law Firm currently recruiting an Early Careers Advisor to join their growing team in their London offices on a permanent basis.The main responsibilities for the Early Careers Advisor will be to support the team in recruiting trainee solicitors and vacation placement students whilst reporting to the Early Careers Manager.KEY DUTIES INCLUDE: Managing seat preferences, international and client secondments, trainee appraisal processes, and being the first point of contact for all pastoral and training concerns for trainees.Managing the future trainee programme, wellbeing requests, paralegal vacancies and insight days.Assisting in recruitment aspects – screening candidates, organising assessment days, providing feedback and participating in workshops and open days.Overseeing the Early Careers website and attending marketing events including careers fairs, university presentations, pop-up stands, virtual events, open days and arranging for representatives to attend.Supporting in the preparation of diversity reports throughout the year and other ad hoc projects.Coaching and mentoring the Early Careers Assistant, sharing knowledge and offering supportSupporting the Early Careers Manager with various projects on SQE and process improvementsThe Early Careers Advisor will have previous experience of graduate recruitment and trainee development, ideally within a Law Firm or Professional Services. It is essential to have an understanding of the UK education system and SRA requirements and regulations. Along with possessing excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels. It is desirable to have an understanding of the SQE and hiring apprenticeships but not essential.
