An award-winning Accountancy Practice are recruiting for a Partner to join their established team. This is a key leadership position and would suit a confident Manager looking for additional responsibilities. Candidacy will be considered from ACA/ACCA exam qualified Accountants.
This role would be the natural next step for a Manager who feels they have hit that glass ceiling. The growth potential is unlimited and any personal development and additional duties would be recognised and rewarded. There is substantial earning potential for someone who has already gained their Practicing Certificate.
The Partner will be responsible for a client portfolio incorporating agricultural, corporate and individual clients. The successful candidate will be involved in the management team, attend Partner and Manager meetings to assess the strategic running of the business.
To be considered for this opportunity you do need to have gained previous managerial experience in an Accountancy Practice. Applicants with an existing Practicing Certificate and some experience of meeting clients and signing off accounts will be in a very strong negotiating position.
Partner duties and responsibilities
Provide expert compliance, tax and management accountancy advice and consultation services to clients, offering professional input to enhance business performance.
Work closely with clients to develop, implement, and review strategic plans and assist them in setting strategic goals at both a personal and business level and assisting with business expansion and succession planning where relevant.
Interpret, inform and effectively communicate financial data and implications of business decisions to non-financial managers.
Maintain strong client relations and proactively seek to establish working relationships with prospective clients.
Attend networking events and proactively identify and progress business development opportunities.
Managing an established client portfolio and ensure workflows through the other departments.
Suggesting and agreeing fees with clients.
Liaising with clients face to face, via email and telephone and assisting with their accounting queries.
Managing and mentoring junior members of the team.
Lead, manage, develop and coach an effective team.
Providing a superior service at all times.
Working with Cloud based Accountancy packages.
